Bang Tao is a long beach on Phuket’s west coast north of Kamala, and home to the Laguna Phuket resort complex.
It is the weakest of our Phuket areas on average score, though every pick still clears our bar. SAii Laguna and Andaman Seaside Resort carry some of the lowest sub-scores in our Phuket set.
The Pavilions, inland at Cherng Talay, is the highest-rated of the three, and at about 9.8km from the airport in a straight line it makes for a short transfer.
