Confirmed on Booking.com (9.3 from 963 reviews) and Agoda (9.1 from 6,555 reviews), checked 15 September 2026. Two wrong Agoda slugs silently redirected to Agoda's Koh Samui city page, which serves a plausible score belonging to a different property; this listing was matched by page heading. Sub-scores and listed facilities read from the Booking.com property page. We have not stayed here.
Hansar combines the two things Bophut properties usually make you choose between: a Fisherman’s Village position and full five-star facilities. Location scores 9.7, the highest figure we have recorded on Samui, shared with Riviera along the same seafront and Phannarai House over at Lamai, and it still has three pools, a spa and a gym.
Staff at 9.7 and comfort at 9.5 are excellent. Wifi at 9.4 is strong. Value for money at 8.9 is respectable for around ฿6,486 a night, and notably better than the cheaper NH Collection manages on the same beach.
With 6,555 reviews on Agoda alone it has the deepest review base of anything we list on Samui, which makes the 9.1 there about as settled a number as you will find.
A note on how we verified it. Two plausible-looking Agoda URLs for this hotel silently redirected to Agoda’s Koh Samui city page, which displays a score belonging to an entirely different property. We only caught it because we check the page heading against the hotel name before recording anything. The figures above come from the correct listing.
