Three Trees is an odd one on paper. It is rated three stars and it was quoting around ฿7,770 a night for the dates we checked, which puts it in luxury territory on price. The guest scores suggest the price is closer to the truth than the stars: staff at 9.7, value for money at 9.2, and over 5,000 combined reviews.
The Booking.com listing is under Sarocha Villa, one of the villa types, which is worth knowing when you search for it.
Location at 8.4 is the softest number. It is on Lamai, the quieter beach, and that is either the point or the problem depending on what you came for.
Spa, yoga and beachfront are the facilities that justify the money. Both platforms score it 9.0 or above across a very large review base.
