The rest of the board is honest three-star: cleanliness 9.1, comfort 9.2, facilities 8.9. Nothing exceptional and nothing alarming. Location at 8.8 is the second-best in our Bangrak set behind Erawan Villa.

The useful comparison is with The Culture Samui, a five-star a few hundred metres up the same beach. It scores higher on cleanliness and comfort, as it should. But on value for money the three-star wins, 8.8 against 8.6, and it costs less than half as much. Which of those matters depends entirely on what you want the room to do.
