Tembo’s wifi scores 9.9, level with Prana Resort Nandana down the beach and behind only Banyan Tree’s perfect 10 on the island, at roughly a third of Banyan Tree’s price. Comfort sits at 9.5. If you are choosing a beachfront base to work from, those two numbers are the whole argument.
It is on Bangrak, the north coast beach near the airport, and it is priced accordingly at around ฿5,508 a night for the dates we checked. Value for money at 8.8 is respectable for that money rather than remarkable.
Booking.com does not display a star rating for this property, so we have not given it one. Facilities are beach, pool, yoga and the essentials, with no spa or gym listed.
Both platforms score it above 9.0, with Booking.com carrying most of the review weight at 657 to Agoda’s 111.
